Carla Abellana: MEGA Magazine’s Best Women to Watch December 2009 Issue
Carla Abellana is one of the 10 Best Women to watch on MEGA Magazine on their December 2009 issue.
Carla is the daughter of the famed actor back in the 80’s, Rey “PJ” Abellana. She started off her career as a commercial model, endorsing products that includes Palmolive shampoo and Jollibee Ice Craze. She originally auditioned to be one of the three leading ladies of Richard Gutierrez for Kapuso’s TV series Zorro. But GMA network was more pleased, eyed to place her on a lead role and was chosen to star the coveted role of Rosalinda, a Mexican telenovela hit Philippine remake.
Carla also hosted for SOP Rules and will now be hosting StarStruck Season 5, together with Dingdong Dantes, Raymond Guttierez and Dennis Trillo. Currently, she’s under a 12-picture contract with Regal films and is said to be on board on at least three films this year, with ‘Ang Nanay Kong Aswang’ as her introductory film.
Among the other ten Best Women to watch on MEGA’s list were Rissa Mananquil,Raya Mananquil,Amina Alunan, Sara Black, Hindy Tantoco, Angel Jacob, Karylle, Solenn Huessaff and Divine Lee.
